Be sure to use a yarn that has a relatively high elasticity and retains its shape as much as possible when worn. For example, I would not recommend knitting yoir dress in Sandnes Line, since this yarn stretches quite a bit when worn and there's a risk that the dress will stretch out significantlich, especially around the hips, when you sit down.
